A story about a tutor
I asked 14-year-old Anahit, who has been practicing with our site's math tutor for about six months, to tell about her impressions. Anahit agreed to tell us about their classes, how he chose a tutor and what changes there have been in education.
Anahit: Hello! It all started when I realized that mathematics was my weak subject and I couldn't understand some topics, my grades were very low. My mom and I decided to hire a tutor to improve my progress. We made a list of criteria together and started looking for a suitable specialist.
First, it was important for us that the specialist should be experienced, secondly, he should be understanding and patient, because I needed time to gradually learn the material and ask questions. And, of course, a good tutor should be interested in sharing his knowledge, teaching to love the subject and understand the nuances. Mom started calling her friends and asking if they knew a reliable math tutor. And one of my girlfriends advised to apply to dasaxos.am website. We got to know Mrs. Karine through the website. We called Karine, arranged a meeting, discussed all the details. I immediately knew that this was the tutor who ideally met all our criteria: experienced, patient and kind.
In our case, the lessons take place in our home. Before starting the class, we decide which topics are unclear to me, and we start the lessons from those topics. Mrs. Karine explains the material very patiently, and most importantly, she finds an individual approach to each topic so that I can understand it faster and easier. We practice a lot on problems and look for different approaches to solving them. I have noticed significant changes in my knowledge and skills. Mrs. Karine helped me to understand the material better, to do additional practical tasks and problems that were not available to me in school classes. I now have a better understanding of math formulas and have been able to improve my grades. After finishing school, I decided to continue my studies in mathematics.
